Welcome to Prospettive (Perspectives), a collection of photographic works captured by students enrolled in Alamo College’s 2026 Study Abroad to Italy program. For many of these artists, this journey represented their first time navigating an unfamiliar culture and documenting the experience with digital camera. The photographic techniques studied in class became a catalyst to explore the light, colors, textures and layered history of the Italian landscape. The resulting collection is an intimate look at Italy through fresh eyes –combining artistic experimentation, cultural exploration, and personal discovery.–Rebecca Dietz
