Gente De Chiapas documents a Chiapas
that is fading away, where an encroaching
cultural uniformity is gradually making of
the people and their customs, a world
like all others.
Through Cisco Dietz’s discerning eye
we detect what’s unique and relevant
about the people and their traditions,
in these culturally rich communities
of Southeastern Mexico.
