Photography is not merely about capturing images; it is a form of visual storytelling that has the power to convey human emotion, experience, and individual perspective. It affords us an opportunity to visit other times, places, and ways of life through someone else’s eyes. By combining the experiences and visual representations of twelve San Antonio photographers, Unseen not only honors the rich tapestry of the San Antonio community but also contributes to a more inclusive and authentic representation of the city’s identity.

Unseen is presented in a unique immersive environment created by Digital Pro Lab to highlight and enhance the stories and the storytelling of our community. The opening reception event includes outdoor food and entertainment.

For the past thirty years, Digital Pro Lab has provided printing, archiving, and photo restoration services to the greater San Antonio area. Now, one of the last photo labs in town, it has become a pass-through for the city’s memories, histories, and perspectives. It is with deep gratitude and appreciation for San Antonio that Digital Pro Lab will showcase unseen artists who are capturing the city’s lesser-known stories.
