Liz Potter is an artist and photographer living in Alpine, Texas.

The Harmony Of Emulsion is a collection of Polaroid emulsion, cyanotype emulsion, and silver gelatin emulsion that all fit into a grand expression of my love for the Chihuahuan Desert. As I created each body of work, I started to see their connectedness despite the visual differences in format. A common thread links them all, and I wanted to show this harmony as a tour of sorts. This exhibit takes you from one thing to another, where the work’s relationships illustrate an over-arching theme while visually depicting the creative process played out in their final forms.
